Based on the questionnaire administered to 682 Chinese college students, this paper explored college students'foreign language learning anxiety and self-regulation strategies in live classes. Results show that:(1)there are unique types of anxiety for foreign language learning in live classes, among which the anxiety about the lack of live learning situation is the most prominent;(2)there is a low level of positive correlation between strategy employment and anxiety level;(3)students of different levels of anxiety differ in their use of self-regulation strategies;(4)learners with high anxiety tend to use more cognitive-affective strategies and avoidance strategies. This paper suggests that teachers should work to enhance foreign language learning context in live classes and guide students to adopt positive self-regulation strategies to cope with anxiety.
