在此背景下,《劳特利奇二语习得与听力手册》(The Routledge Handbook of Second Language Acquisition and Listening)于2024年正式出版,由二语听力习得研究领域的三位权威学者Elvis Wagner、Aaron Olaf Batty和Evelina Galaczi担任主编.
Abstract
Second language listening research, teaching, and assessment have increasingly become research foci in SLA studies. However, these dimensions have often been explored in isolation, resulting in a lack of systematic integration within the field.Addressing this gap,The Routledge Handbook of Second Language Acquisition and Listening(2024),edited by Elvis Wagner,Aaron Olaf Batty, and Evelina Galaczi, serves as the first comprehensive volume to unify these three dimensions under a coherent SLA theoretical framework. The handbook systematically examines theoretical foundations, core topics, pedagogical and assessment practices, and emerging issues.By critically reviewing existing research and offering practical recommendations for future directions, the handbook provides a valuable resource that bridges the gap between theoretical insights and real-world pedagogical and assessment practices. This review provides an overview and critical evaluation of the handbook.
