新世纪以来英语世界朱子"理"的多维诠释与翻译

摘要
"理"是朱子学最为关键的术语,也是理解朱子学、宋明理学的关键.自朱子学向外译介时起,"理"就有多种译法,但是每一种译法都会有不同的声音.进入新世纪以后,"理"的诠释和翻译也变得多样,其中主要有pattern,co-herence,pattern-principle等.每一种译法实际都体现出英语世界对朱子学认识的演进,也表明西方理解和诠释朱子学核心思想路径和翻译实践的变化.
Abstract
As the keyword of Neo-Coufucianism,Li is the most important term to understand Zhu Xi's thoughts,which influenced China more than 800 years.There are various translations since Neo-Confucianism has been interpreted to the world.Each translation,however,aroused different voices.In the new century,multiple translations and interpretations of Li are introduced to the Eng-lish-speaking world,such as pattern,coherence,and pattern-principle.These translations,in fact,reflect the evolution of the understanding of Neo-Confucianism,and the change of interpretation path and translation practice in the west world.
