Design of Digital Twin System for Electrochemical Machining Machine Tools
In order to improve digitization and control accuracy in the electrolytic machining process, this paper presents a digital twin system based on the combination of PLC,simulation model, database and Unity3 D multi-platform.PLC and simulation model are combined with the PD control algorithm to regulate the real-time adjustment of the tool feed rate, realizing the stable output of machining current. The visualization control system of the machining system is designed by using the Unity3 D platform, and its performance is evaluated in a electrolytic machining test. The experimental results show that the method proposed in this paper can collect real-time current, voltage, temperature, pressure and other key data in the electrolytic machining process, realizing digital simulation, prediction and control functions. The stability of the machining current is improved, which makes the target value of the machining current be reached faster. And also the smaller overshooting value and the amplitude of the system oscillation greatly retard the stray corrosion.
