Optimized Design and Simulation of Magnetic Fields for Aerospace Electromagnetic Clutches
In order to optimize the magnetic field performance of a certain type of electromagnetic clutch used in aerospace to meet the requirements of a project,its magnetic field was optimized by numerical calculation method.And ANSYS Workbench was used to make a modal analysis of the yoke according to the aerospace environment,and the friction plate and armature were statically analyzed according to the relevant values of the optimized design.The results show that the original clutch torque is 5 N·m,but the optimized magnetic field can generate an electromagnetic force of 86.5 N,and the torque capacity of the electromagnetic clutch is 4.2 N·m.Under these conditions the mechanical properties of the parts can meet the requirements of the project and the rationality and feasibility of the optimization are verified.
