Study on fire hazard of wood-panel based on combination weighting-grey correlation method
In order to investigate the comprehensive evaluation of fire hazard of wood-panels,six com-monly-used wood-panels(fir,pine,elm,density,plywood,particle board)were selected, and the com-bustion behaviors of the six panels were tested by using a cone calorimeter and a fire spreading experi-mental platform. The measured combustion reaction parameters were divided into four index factors, namely, combustion characteristics, smoke characteristics and general smoke toxicity, and flame spread characteristics,in order to construct a comprehensive evaluation index system for the fire hazard of wood-panels,and an improved grey correlation method based on the combination of the game method and assignment was proposed. And compared with the fire growth rate,it was found that the fire growth rate mainly reflects the thermal hazard in the rapid growth stage, while the improved gray correlation method tends to be more comprehensive in evaluating the factors of each indicator. The results show that the improved gray correlation method can effectively evaluate the influence of each index factor on the fire danger of wood-based panels, and the fire danger of six wood-based panels from the smallest to the largest is as follows:elm wood panel(0.674 8)>pine wood panel(0.663 4)>particle board(0.655 6)>fir wood panel(0.650 5)>density board(0.637 7)>plywood(0.633 0).The improved gray correlation method with combination assignment can be more scientific and comprehensive to re-flect the size of fire danger in the whole fire process when evaluating the fire danger of materials, and it is a way for evaluating the results with high credibility.
