Research on the path of business environment and digital ecology to promote the common prosperity from the perspective of configuration
It is of importance whether optimizing business environment and developing digital ecology can become the path to achieve common prosperity in provinces.From the configuration perspective,this paper uses the fsQCA method to explore the complex causal relationship be-tween business environment,digital ecology and the development of common prosperity in prov-inces.The findings are as follows:①single element of business environment and digital ecologi-cal element is not the necessary condition for the generation of high common prosperity in prov-inces,but the antecedent conditions dominated by the government(high government environment or high law and policy environment)appear in all the configurations producing high common prosperity,which indicates that promising government plays a prominent role in promoting the common prosperity in provinces;②there are three paths for business environment and digital e-cology to produce high common prosperity in provinces,that is,the type collaboration-driven by"Service Oriented Government"and"Powerful Society"in the sound digital ecology,the type col-laboration-driven by"Efficient Market"and"Promising Government",and the type oriented by"Law-based Government"in the sound digital foundation and digital application.There are two kinds of logic for digital ecology which affect the common prosperity of provinces:one is to follow the path of"input-transformation-output",and the other is to follow the path of"external intro-duction-application";③it is found that through the regional heterogeneity analysis there are five paths leading to high common prosperity in provinces in eastern regions,with one path leading to high common prosperity in provinces in central and western regions respectively.
