Exploration on Teaching Reform of Specialized English from the Perspective of Positive Psychology——A Case Study on Electronic Science and Technology
In order to stimulate students'enthusiasm for learning,temper students'self-confidence and improve students'ability to use English,the teaching reform breaks the traditional teaching mode of"knowledge-information"in the process of professional English study for students with the major of electronic science and technology.Based on the principles of positive psychology,the course links are set up step by step.At the same time,a scientific and reasonable course evaluation system is designed by means of the flipped classroom,combination of class and competition,and team teaching method.Moreover,curriculum ideology and politics are introduced into teaching process.The results of the curriculum reform show that it has a great influence on students'interest and self-confidence in professional English study.76.7%students think their interest in English learning has been improved,and 81.4%students think their confidence in English speaking has been improved.All in all,students'professional skills and non-professional skills have also been greatly improved through this teaching reform.
