On the Inclusive Spirit of Xi'an——A Case Study of Zhou,Qin,Han,and Tang
Zhou,Qin,Han,Tang Dynasty,all established the ancient city of Chang'an.Xi'an,located in western China,has always had a spirit of inclusiveness,and this spirit has flourished since its inception.The Zhou Dynasty,with their etiquette,virtue,and tolerance towards the world,made the system of rites and music,and ruled the world.The Qin Dynasty recruited talents with a broad mind,creating a foundation.The Han Dynasty built an empire with the dream of"great unity",opened the Silk Road,merged with the Xiongnu,achieved harmony between the Han and Xiongnu,and unified the world.The Tang Dynasty created a prosperous era of the Tang Dynasty with an open mindset and grand momentum,integrating the Hu and Han dynasties,and bringing all nations to the court.Taking Zhou,Qin,Han,and Tang Dynasty as examples,this article discusses the inclusive spirit that Xi'an possesses.
