An Analysis on the Compilation System of Yuan Xingpei's History of Chinese Literature and Zhang Peiheng's New History of Chinese Literature——Centered on Data Selection
Data selection is an important aspect in the study of the compilation system of literary history.Taking Yuan Xingpei's History of Chinese Literature and Zhang Peiheng's New Book of Chinese Literature History as the research object,we can see that the two literary histories have the same points in the selection of materials as the representative of writers'works selection and rich and accurate annotations.Based on the characteristics of data collection in New Book,its differences lie in the excerpt and interpretation of the classic philosophy of Marne,the emergence of rare writers and female writers.
