Based on the micro household survey data,this paper discusses the impact and mechanism of digital finance on sports consumption from the household level.The study found that digital finance can help promote sports consumption.Heterogeneity analysis shows that this promotion effect is more significant in urban,eastern regions,female-headed households and households with higher education.Mechanism analysis shows that digital finance can help sports consumption by improving the level of financial literacy and promoting family entrepreneurial decision-making.Therefore,we should promote the construction of digital infrastructure to build a solid technical foundation for the development of digital finance,build application scenarios for digital finance to empower sports consumption,strengthen the publicity of financial knowledge and optimize the entrepreneurial environment,and promote digital finance to become a long-term mechanism to stimulate the potential of sports consumption.
