The study proposes that the establishment of the reference perspective in curriculum reform research has gone through three stages,namely,recognizing the trend of foreign curriculum reform through the translation and introduction of Western curriculum theories,deriving the thinking of how to correctly treat foreign curriculum theories from the disputes,and forming the realistic questioning of what should be referred to in China's curriculum reform from the multi-dimensional issues.The reform of the PE curriculum in China revolves around the following two aspects:what is the theoretical basis of the reform of the PE curriculum in China and how to refer to and reflect on it.The study suggests that Chinese scholars are gradually deepening their understanding of the theoretical issues of PE curriculum reform,and at the same time will conduct more in-depth and innovative research on it;how to refer to the PE curriculum reform has become an urgent research question and expansion direction at present and in the future;the future reference research on PE curriculum reform should not only return to the perspective of comparative pedagogy,but also introduce the case and empirical research methods to increase the depth and systematicness of the research.
