Research on the Experience of World Cup Football Stadium Construction and Post Match Utilization Since the New Century
To provide enlightenment for China's stadium construction and post match utilization,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the experience and some deficiencies in the construction and post match utilization of the World Cup stadiums since this century.It is concluded that the stadiums in Japan and Germany have better post match utilization,while those in South Africa,Brazil and Russia have poor post match utilization,but they also have their own characteristics in construction and post match utilization.The experience of the construction and post match utilization of the World Cup stadium can be summarized as follows:raising diverse construction funds to alleviate financial burden;implementing sustainable development strategies and creating green stadiums;transforming and utilizing existing stadiums to reduce construction costs;reducing the stadium capacity after the competition and lowering maintenance costs;diversified and composite utilization of the stadium,enriching operational content;introducing professional sports clubs to promote the development of professional sports;introducing professional management institutions to enhance operational capabilities;as a carrier of urban renewal,improving urban service capabilities.
