The Emergence and Governance Exploration of the Reconstruction Issues for Chinese Characteristic Sports Event System
China is entering a critical period marked primarily by high-quality development.In the field of sports,achieving the goal of high-quality development objectively requires making sports a hallmark endeavor for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Sports events constitute a core component of sports and objectively bear the important task of driving sports development.To promote the high-quality development of sports events,this paper analyzes the strategic needs of national initiatives such as"Healthy China"and"Sports Powerful nation",and proposes five issues for reconstructing the system of the sports events with Chinese characteristics.It elaborates on the emergence and basic connotations of these issues,which include the national mission of sports events,their product attributes,social governance,sector governance,and governance effectiveness.The paper demonstrates the basic ideas for addressing these five issues and proposes governance strategies such as innovating the development mode of sports events with Chinese characteristics,promoting balanced development of sports events with Chinese characteristics,building a platform for the integrated development of sports events with Chinese characteristics,strengthening the modernization governance for sports events with Chinese characteristics,and optimizing the system mechanisms of sports events with Chinese characteristics,providing supports for exploring the plans,paths,and methods for reconstructing the system of sports events in China.
