Teachers'beliefs and practice in written corrective feedback(WCF)have been found with great contribution to learners'foreign language writing ability development.The present study explores 2012 primary and secondary EFL teachers in Beijing regarding their beliefs and practices of WCF.Data analyses demonstrate the participants'varied beliefs and prac-tices in choosing the range,content and ways of WCF,influenced by their teaching objectives,learner characteristics and working load.The present study hopes to offer insight into future pre-and in-service teacher training in light of WCF beliefs and practices so as to enhance EFL teachers'writing teaching competence as well as facilitate their professional development.
