摘要

语音能力是语言能力构念的重要组成,对语言教、学、评意义重大.通过回顾《欧洲语言共同参考框架》语音控制量表的修订工作,本文提出应尽快创建中国英语语音能力评估标准,在建设理念上应遵循"可理解性原则";在设计思路上可采用语音能力整体描述子量表和语音能力构念成分子量表的混合形式;在创建方法上应采用数据驱动范式,通过综合分析学习者语音语料库、专家的评分决策过程和判断结果等数据提高其效度.

Abstract

As an integral part of language ability,phonological competence plays a pivotal role in language teaching,learning and assessment.However,the system of evaluating English phonological competence in China is far from mature.Based on a comprehensive review of the revision of CEFR Phonological Control Scale,it is argued that it is high time that China's Stand-ard of English Phonological Competence should be developed.Three suggestions are thus proposed.First,the intelligibility principle should be adopted to guide the whole development process;second,a hybrid form including a global scale of overall description of intelligibility and an analytic scale of various construct components of pronunciation competence could be used;finally,the data-driven approach should be followed which integrates corpus analysis and analysis of experts'rating process and their ratings,in an attempt to enhance the scale's validity.
