Coordinate structure is a category that consists of two or more conjuncts.The internal features and mechanisms of constraints present a challenging problem that has puzzled many researchers.Thus,the study attempts to explore the features of conjuncts and the constraint conditions from a cross-language perspective,focusing on the analyses of similarities of the structural features in syntax,phonology,and semantics,simultaneously the asymmetry of conjuncts is discussed.In particu-lar,a current problem concerning coordinate structure constraints and some disputes are investigated.Future research will fo-cus on the interface between syntax and semantics in coordinate structure constraints,aiming to explore the underlying cogni-tive mechanisms.
