英语教材作为课程资源的重要组成部分,相关研究引发学界关注.为探究国际英语教材研究的现状与热点,本研究选取Web of Science核心集数据库中2003年至2024年收录的英语教材相关文献,借助可视化分析软件VOS-viewer对其研究热点及趋势进行文献计量分析.分析结果显示,国际英语教材研究呈快速增长的态势,侧重宏观理论支持下的实证研究;研究主题主要包括英语教材文化内容分析研究、价值观研究和性别歧视研究等.最后,从理论框架、研究范式和研究内容等方面对未来教材研究进行展望.
English textbooks,as vital components of curriculum resources,have garnered significant attention in academia.To investigate the current status and focal points of international research on English textbooks,this study utilizes literature data from the Web of Science Core Collection spanning from 2003 to 2024.By employing VOSviewer,a visualization analysis soft-ware,we conduct a bibliometric analysis of the research hotspots and trends.The analysis reveals a rapid growth in interna-tional research on English textbooks,with an emphasis on empirical studies supported by macro-level theories.Research themes primarily encompass the analysis of cultural content,ideologies,gender representation in English textbooks.Finally,this study offers a prospective outlook on future research in the field,addressing theoretical frameworks,research paradigms,and subject matter.
