This study begins with the core concept of speech acts, incorporating emotion into the scope of pragmatic investiga-tion.From a multimodal perspective,it analyzes the important role of emotion in illocutionary force and conducts a comparative analysis of the multimodal characteristics of beneficiary illocutionary force between cognitively healthy older individuals and pa-tients with Alzheimer's disease. The research finds that, compared to the cognitively healthy control group,Alzheirmer's pa-tients exhibit a certain degree of emotional blunting, leading to the infelicity of illocutionary force. There is a mismatch be-tween the emotional state and facial expressions in their illocutionary force expression, and their ability to allocate resources re-lated to appearance and other factors declines. However, patients still retain the ability to utilize rhythmic features.Emotion is an important factor in the expression of illocutionary force, and incorporating emotion into the study of prgmatics help further enrich and refine existing pragmatic theories, making them more aligned with real-life communication.
