This study systematically reviews researches on reference production and comprehension in children with autism spectrum disorder(ASD)published in the past 15 years and analyses characteristics and factors that influence the choice of references.It is found that ASD children's referential expressions are affected by various factors,including linguistic skills,cognitive abilities,language environment,etc.Results show that there is an interdisciplinary trend in this field.Meanwhile,some limitations are observed,including small sample sizes,a lack of longitudinal studies,and no systematic studies of vari-ous factors.The present study suggests that future research should continue to advance interdisciplinary research further and provide guidance for more precise and effective educational support and language intervention.
