英语轻动词构式的共选性特征:基于相对熵的多因素分析

摘要
本研究基于相对熵,采用多因素分析探讨英语轻动词构式的共选性特征.具体而言,本研究使用逻辑斯蒂回归和条件推断树确定轻动词构式的显著影响因素,并以树形模型构建轻动词构式的预测结构.研究结果表明,轻动词构式的共选受多种因素的制约.其中,语域、轻动词构式中名词定指性与轻动词构式中名词具体性是轻动词构式的首要影响因素.本研究通过分析不同因素对轻动词构式共选性特征的影响,更加全面地揭示了语言使用的复杂性和多样性,为多因素视角下的语言特征研究提供有益借鉴.
Abstract
Based on relative entropy,this study explores the co-selection characteristics of English light verb constructions(LVCs)from a multifactor analysis.Specifically,this research employs both logistic regression and conditional inference trees to identify significant factors influencing the selection of LVC and constructs a predictive structure for LVCs with a tree-like model.The findings indicate that the co-selection of LVC is influenced by multiple factors,with register,definiteness of noun in LVC and specificity of noun in LVC being the primary influencers.By examining the significant factors on LVC co-selec-tion,this study contributes to a better understanding of the complexity and diversity of language use,offering valuable insights for language feature research from a multifactor perspective.
