The literacy of academic translators determines the ability of Chinese academic achievements to reach a global audi-ence.This paper begins by defining the concept of academic translators'literacy.It then analyses the components of the liter-acy in the context of Translation Project of Chinese Academic Works,elucidating its significance from three dimensions:aca-demic,linguistic and cultural,media and digital intelligence,encompassing five elements.Finally,the paper explores the de-velopmental approaches for enhancing academic translators'literacy from the perspectives of translators,universities,and so-ciety.The goal is to solidify the talent foundation for Chinese academics to go global and promote academic exchanges between China and foreign countries,thereby enhancing the international communication capacity of Chinese academic discourse.
