Numerical Calculation Method for Power System Transient Stability Based on Single Step Block Method with Parameters
Targeting the problem of online real-time analysis on power system transient stability, the paper proposes a numerical calculation method based on single step block method with parameters for quickly solving the power system transient stability. The differential equations for the transient stability calculation are discretized using a parameterized one-step block format, and the Newton method is used to solve the nonlinear algebraic equations obtained by the difference as a whole. The generalized minimal residual method is used to solve the algebraic equations discretized by boundary value method(BVM),and a preprocessing matrix is used to improve the convergence of the algorithm.Simulation tests are conducted on the transient stability calculation system of IEEE 145-node,and the calculation results are compared with the same order method. The results show that the proposed method has high computational accuracy, good numerical stability, and good universality in quickly solving the transient stability of the power systems.
