Passive Islanding Detection Method Based on Rate of Change of Frequency
In order to solve the problems of low accuracy and big detection blind area in the traditional passive islanding detection method, the paper proposes a new islanding detection method based on the rate of change of frequency by analyzing the frequency change law of a common coupling point before and after the islanding. The tracking of grid frequency is realized with frequency-locked loop control through the negative feedback of reactive power, and the frequency change curve is fitted with a local weighted linear fitting algorithm. After calculating the slope of the frequency fitting curve, the fluctuation change of the slope curve is used to detect the occurrence of the islanding. The MATLAB/Simulink simulation results show that the proposed method can accurately detect the islanding effect in various situations, eliminate the detection blind zone, and has strong applicability.
