Active Power Control Method for Virtual Synchronous Generator Based on Damping Power Adjustment
The transient oscillation and steady-state deviation of output active power cannot be suppressed at the same time by introducing damping coefficients into the control technology of virtual synchronous generator. Therefore, the paper proposes an active power control method for the virtual synchronous generator based on damping power adjustment.Firstly, the main problems in the conventional active power control method for the virtual synchronous generator are analyzed. Then a proportional and integral controller is added to the conventional control strategy to adjust the damping power, suppressing the oscillation and overshoot of the active power, ensuring the damping power to be zero in the steady state, and eliminating the steady-state deviation of the active power.MATLAB/Simulink simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
