Line Protection Method Analysis for Microgrid System Based on Fault Distance
Fast and effective line protection scheme is the key to the development of decentralized on-site power supply technology.Microgrid system line protection method based on fault distance is proposed to address the issue of microgrid line protection.By constructing an equivalent electrical quantity equation containing fault signals and deriving an analytical expression for fault distance,a criterion for multi-terminal line protection is established, and then this method is extended to power networks with multiple connected power sources. The numerical analysis shows that the proposed criterion method has high reliability and can effectively avoid the misoperation or refusal of operation caused by unreasonable setting value of protection device.
