Power Flow Analysis Model of Power System with 100% Renewable Energy under Power-Frequency Coupling
With the gradual maturity of renewable energy generation technologies, the power system with 100%renewable energy supported only by converter-interfaced sources has become an important power grid form for green energy development and utilization. The characteristics of converter-interfaced sources and synchronous generators are significantly different,so the traditional power flow analysis method is not suitable for the power system with 100%renewable energy.Firstly,a unified converter steady-state model is derived based on the governing equations of gird-following control and gird-forming control, which can be used to calculate the power flow of the power system with 100%new energy. Then a power flow analysis model for the power system with 100%new energy under power-frequency coupling is established by combining the steady-state converter equations and node power equations, and the steady-state frequency is used as a variable to participate in power flow iteration. Finally, the simulation analysis based on IEEE 9-bus and IEEE 33-bus system verifies the correctness of the proposed power flow analysis model.
