中国文化遗产保护思想的发展与实践

文化遗产保护思想直接影响和左右着文化遗产保护实践的趋向与进程、方法与手段。从先秦至今,在几千年的中国历史上,文化遗产保护思想的形成、发展、演变和在其引领下的保护实践表现为四个特色鲜明的历史阶段,即"重道轻器"的古物保护、注重象征意义与精神传承的文物保护、恪守"原真性"原则的文化遗产保护和强调活化利用的文化遗产保护。这四个历史阶段作为中国文化遗产保护思想的发展脉络,真实客观地映示出中国文化遗产保护发展的历史进程。
Development and Practice of Chinese Cultural Heritage Protection Thought
The ideology of cultural heritage protection directly influences and shapes the trend and process of cultural heritage protection practice,as well as its thinking and methodology,quality and efficiency.It is of great value and significance to grasp the core meaning of cultural heritage protection ideology and clarify its de-velopment and practice,in order to objectively summarise the history of cultural heritage protection,do a good job of cultural heritage protection and inheritance work in the new era,and grasp the direction of the future de-velopment of cultural heritage protection.What kind of cultural heritage protection idea has existed in the thousands of years of Chinese history?What kind of development and practice has it gone through?What are the stage-by-stage cultural characteristics?So far,the academic community has not yet explored this.Based on the philosophical thinking of traditional Chinese culture,this paper emphasizes artistic concept of"writing"and the aesthetic interest of"expressing feelings and aspirations",and combines the influence of western culture and the actual needs of economic and social development.Combined with the influence of for-eign cultures from the west and the actual needs of economic and social development,the development and practice of cultural heritage protection in China has been vertically examined and classified into four distinctive historical phases,i.e.,the protection of antiquities that emphasizes the way of life over the use of artefacts(from the first Qin Dynasty to the pre-Tang Dynasty),the protection of cultural relics that focuses on symbolic significance and spiritual inheritance(from the Tang Dynasty to the middle-1980s),and the protection of cul-tural heritage that adheres to the principle of"originality"(from the mid-1980s to the end of the first decade of the 21st century),and cultural heritage conservation with emphasizes the adaptive use(from the early 1920s to the present).In the first and second phases,under the influence of the concept of"valuing the Tao over the weapon"and the aesthetic interest of"expressing feelings and aspirations",the transmission of the ideological connota-tion and spiritual qualities of cultural heritage has always been an important objective of the Chinese in preser-ving cultural heritage.By continuously repairing and rebuilding the damaged or destroyed cultural relics and monuments through the method of"rebuilding temples and reshaping the golden body",people continue to pass on and develop the spirit of craftsmanship,creativity and innovation of the Chinese nation.In the third stage,scholars in the cultural heritage sector,especially some experts deeply influenced by western culture,disregarded the Chinese cultural characteristics and traditions,and simply transplanted and copied the western principle of"authenticity"protection,which brought unnecessary influence and damage to the cause of Chi-na's cultural heritage,especially from the point of view of the protection of cultural diversity of mankind.This has brought unnecessary influence and damage to the cause of China's cultural heritage,especially from the perspective of protecting human cultural diversity,and weakened the characteristics and advantages of China's cultural heritage protection in terms of ideology and methods.In the fourth stage,cultural heritage protection has begun to put more emphasis on revitalization and utilization from ideology to practice,realising the organic integration of cultural heritage with the economy and society in modern society and in different contexts through innovative means,carriers and function expansion,reconstructing the contemporary functions of cultural herit-age to meet the needs of economic and social development,continuously enhancing the vitality and charm of cultural heritage,and effectively giving full play to the value and significance of cultural heritage on the road to modernity and the development of society.The value and significance of cultural heritage in the development of modernity of society have become the important contents of the development of cultural heritage in the new era and the important tasks of cultural heritage workers.To sum up,the development and practice of Chinese cultural heritage protection is closely related to the connotation and qualities of traditional Chinese culture,deeply influenced by foreign cultures,and at the same time,to a large extent,subject to the needs of the times of economic and social development.It is only through this understanding that we can truly understand and grasp the internal motivation of cultural heritage protection and development,including values,principles,methods and means,in the context of China's spe-cific society and culture,so as to gain a deeper understanding of the cultural characteristics of China's cultur-al heritage protection and development,and to vigorously push forward the cause of cultural heritage protection and development in the new era.
