Research on the impact of the"Belt and Road"Initiative on China's participation in global economic governance and its countermeasures
To explore the impact of the"Belt and Road"Initiative on China's participation in global economic governance,a global economic governance participation index system was constructed.Authoritative data from 2010 to 2020 were selected, and the entropy weight method was used for measurement. The study found that during the construction of the"Belt and Road",China has changed its position in global economic governance through four major initiatives:enhancing international cooperation confidence, establishing a stable core circle of friends, proposing Chinese solutions for global issues, and increasing China's discourse power in the international financial field. The study shows that after the"Belt and Road"Initiative,China's participation in global economic governance has significantly increased, but it still faces risks and challenges such as intensified major power rivalry, decreased willingness for interaction from certain countries along the route, and the misinterpretation of goodwill cooperation. To maintain the advantages of the"Belt and Road"and gain more opportunities,it is necessary to boost confidence, integrate resources, and enhance cultural exchanges.
