Research on high-strength bolt pre-tightening force detection method based on non-contact measurement technology
In order to study the feasibility of non-contact measurement technology to detect the pre-tightening force of high-strength bolts, the 8.8 grade M16 high-strength bolts were taken as the research object, and the pre-tightening force of high-strength bolts was simulated by finite element software. The strain distribution on the nut surface under different bolt pre-tightening forces was analyzed. The surface strain of the nut during the pre-tightening force of the high-strength bolt was measured by the resistance strain gauge test. The measurement results were compared with the simulation results to verify the correctness of the finite element simulation and the linear relationship between the bolt pre-tightening force and the surface strain of the nut.The three-dimensional digital image correlation method was used to detect the surface strain of the nut during the pre-tightening force of the high-strength bolt, and the results were compared with the finite element analysis results. Finally, the target values of surface strain detection of 8.8 grade M16 high-strength bolt nut under 20%failure probability and 50%confidence were obtained by using the calculation method of lower confidence limit of complete sample reliability of normal distribution. The results show that it is theoretically feasible to use the three-dimensional digital image correlation method to determine the pre-tightening force of high-strength bolts by detecting the surface strain of the nut.
