High-quality Development of Rural Finance in the Construction of Agricultural Power and Financial Power——A Summary of the 18th China Rural Financial Development Forum
Under the background of building a strong agricultural country and a strong financial country,it is of far-reaching significance to explore the high-quality development of rural finance to promote the modernization of agriculture and rural areas,improve the rural financial system,help the overall revitalization of rural areas,and pro-mote the integrated development of urban and rural areas.On August 9-11,2024,the 18th China Rural Financial Development Forum was held in Northwest A&F University.More than 200 teachers and students from over China gathered here,focusing on the connotation,characteristics and construction experience of agricultural power and fi-nancial power,the realistic challenges,strategic paths,key areas and links of rural financial high-quality develop-ment under the background of agricultural power and financial power.The consensus of this forum is that the con-struction of a strong agricultural country and a strong financial country is a two-wheel driving force to promote the high-quality development of rural finance.In the face of multiple practical challenges,it is necessary to continuously strengthen infrastructure,innovate financial products and services,promote technological empowerment and digital transformation,strengthen risk management,innovate insurance products,improve the policy and regulatory envi-ronment,and expand the scope of inclusive finance and experimental demonstration areas.In addition,it is necessary to focus on the core areas of digital finance,agricultural insurance,reform and innovation of rural financial institu-tions and modernization of agriculture and rural areas in the long run,so as to realize the comprehensive prosperity and sustainable development of rural finance.
