With the profound integration of environmental protection concepts into the realm of fashion,clothing fabrics are constantly evolving.The article provides an overview of the production principles and steps involved in the wet felting process of wool felt,while summarizing the artistic characteristics of wet felting fabrics in terms of color artistry and unique texture.It explores the role of wet felting fabrics in shaping the external appearance and showcasing details(surface texture,texture details,three-dimensionality)of garments,as well as investigates the combination effect of wet felting fabrics with knitted and woven fabrics.Through this research,we hope to explore innovative application methods for wet felting,infusing traditional craftsmanship with new vitality,promoting the extensive use of wet felting fabrics in the field of clothing,and providing fresh perspectives and materials for innovative clothing design.
