Baoshan ethnic embroidery in Yunnan Province has rich patterns,harmonious colors and various techniques,inheriting the emotions and cultures of various local ethnic groups,and has high artistic value and cultural connotation.However,there are many restrictive factors in its development.This paper analyzes the necessity,advantages and restrictive factors of promoting the development of Baoshan ethnic embroidery.From the perspective of innovation and development based on local cultural characteristics,the paper puts forward the path of the development of Baoshan ethnic embroidery craft,and explores an innovative way of inheritance,development and revitalization of ethnic embroidery craft.
