Traditional folk art in China widely exists in the social life of the people,serving as an artistic form that conveys ideas,aesthetics,concepts,beliefs,emotions,and ways of living.Skillfully integrating elements of folk art into the design of handmade leather goods not only enhances the aesthetic depth of such products but also contributes to the modernization of folk culture and art.Grounded in the expressive forms of folk art,this piece analyzes the challenges of fusing folk art elements with handmade leather goods design,proposing strategies such as refining the colors of folk art,innovatively applying folk art forms,and integrating folk art techniques.This provides a theoretical reference for the appropriate application of traditional folk art elements in the design of handmade leather goods.
