Traditional textiles possess a profound history and unique ethnic style.With the development of society and the evolution of people's aesthetic sense,traditional styles alone are no longer sufficient to meet the diversified demands of people.The fusion of traditional and modern elements provides designers with ample creative space.By combining traditional patterns and designs with modern geometric shapes and abstract patterns,textile designs that keep pace with the times can be created.This fusion design not only preserves the essence of traditional culture,but also endues the works with fashion and modernity.On this basis,the article first expounds on the profound connotation of traditional cultural elements in detail,and then elaborates on the fusion of traditional and modern elements in textile design from five aspects:woodblock printing patterns,traditional decorative patterns,traditional colors,traditional decorative elements,and traditional fabrics.The aim is to further promote the integration of traditional and modern elements in textile design and enhance the cultural value of textiles.
