Modern vocational education should highlight its distinct characteristics,promote innovative talent cultivation models,and foster applied-skills professionals who can contribute to regional development.Addressing the issues in graduation design for vocational clothing,this article advocates for reform and practice in teaching by leveraging local culture.By incorporating local cultural elements into the graduation design process,such as conducting field research in pastoral settings,adopting personalized teaching methods,implementing a diversified evaluation system,and organizing graduation design exhibitions,we can establish a long-term cooperative and mutually beneficial partnership between the school and the local community.This will create a vocational education model with unique local features,showcasing the strengths and distinctive qualities of the institution.
