The pursuit of apparel diversity among people has spurred the application of pleated elements in clothing design.To broaden the horizons of pleated evening gown design,this article employs literature reference,physical observation,and research methods.It delves into the historical development of domestic and foreign clothing design,comprehensively understands the design concepts and expressions of major brands and designers,and summarizes the current reproductions and primary issues of pleated fabrics in apparel design.The aim of this article is to provide new ideas and inspiration for modern evening gown design,satisfying the increasing demand for personalized consumption.
