Seasonal culture is an important part of Chinese social culture,and the development of seasonal festivals in the Song Dynasty reached its peak.The breadth of seasonal clothing in the Song Dynasty covered everything from attire to accessories.Through unearthed artifacts,extant paintings,poetry,and other relevant materials,the seasonal clothing of the Song Dynasty is classified into three categories:animal,plant,and miscellaneous.This study proposes a new perspective and new angle for the research on Song Dynasty seasonal clothing culture from the perspective of museology.Furthermore,it attempts to restore the clothing style and cultural scenes of the people in the Song Dynasty from the perspective of material culture,showcasing the Song people's observations and cognition of nature and the underlying museological cultural system.
