Tibetan costume culture is an important part of China's excellent traditional culture.Applying Tibetan costume elements to animated character design helps to better inherit and develop Tibetan costume culture and enrich the cultural connotation of animated films.Based on this,the article introduces the categories and styles of Tibetan costumes,analyzes the characteristics of character design in existing Tibetan-themed animated films,and further explores the ways in which Tibetan costume elements are integrated into animation design.It is hoped that this research will promote the development of ethnic cultural-themed animation and contribute to the digital protection of ethnic culture.
