Chinese traditional clothing culture has a long history, and pre-Qin wedding dresses showcase unique beauty. The study interprets the aesthetic characteristics of the pre-Qin period from the perspectives of form, color, and pattern. The form of clothing was dominated by"Yi and Chang"("Yi"is the coat worn above, and"Chang"is the dress worn down.).Color followed the traditional Xuanxun system and presents a dignified aesthetic concept. The pattern was valued for its simplicity, and the embroidery only appeared in the clothing of a few aristocratic classes. These characteristics not only highlighted people's emphasis on marriage and family but also endowed pre-Qin wedding dresses with unique historical significance and artistic value.
