Through theoretical exploration and design practice,the paper systematically delineates the birth background,development process,and distinctive expressive techniques of Gothic art,meticulously analyzes the distinct characteristics of modern Gothic art style and its practical application and evolutionary patterns in contemporary evening dress design.With specific design cases,the paper further delves into the subtle integration of Gothic art elements into modern evening dress design to cater to contemporary pursuit of fashion trends.In design practice,particular emphasis is placed on the harmonious integration with modern aesthetic concepts,striving to achieve a harmonious unity between Gothic art and evening dresses,thereby creating a visual effect that is ethereal,translucent,elegant,refined,and delicately exquisite.
