Abstract
The article delves deeply into the unique styles,evolutionary trajectory,and societal value of attire culture during the Republic of China(1912-1949)period,revealing the diverse trends underpinning the fusion of Eastern and Western ideologies,as well as the economic,political,and cultural changes it entails.It elaborates on men's Zhongshan suits,Western suits,Changshan robes,and student uniforms,as well as women's qipaos and jackets,exploring their crucial roles in societal stratification,female emancipation,and fashion development.Lastly,the article emphasizes the significance of researching the attire culture of the Republic of China(1912-1949),proposing recommendations for cultural inheritance,historical exploration,and design innovation to promote its study and conservation.
