Sichuan embroidery,as a significant intangible cultural heritage in the Sichuan region,faces numerous challenges on its path to sustainable development.Through field investigations and surveys,this paper explores the contemporary dilemmas in the inheritance and development of Sichuan embroidery.The research reveals issues such as interrupted transmission,shortage of skilled artisans,and weak ethnic cultural awareness.To address these challenges,we propose establishing comprehensive protection mechanisms,integrating innovative techniques,advocating transformative approaches to publicity,and enhancing ethnic cultural education.These initiatives aim to revitalize Sichuan embroidery with renewed vigor in the new era.
