This paper explores the innovative application of shibori technique on vegetable-tanned leather.Through literature analysis and design practices,the paper introduces the traditional techniques of shibori,analyzes how to ingeniously integrate shibori technique into the design and artistic practices of vegetable-tanned leather,and discusses the current application status of shibori technique on vegetable-tanned leather.The combination of shibori technique and vegetable-tanned leather craft is not only a bold experiment but also injects new vitality and possibilities into both traditional crafts.
