Advances in 3D technology have brought new opportunities and challenges to the footwear industry.This paper first introduces the basic concept of 3D printing technology,then analyzes the development of 3D printing technology in the footwear industry,and deeply discusses the impact of 3D printing technology on the footwear industry,including the impact on footwear designers,footwear design and development process,footwear procurement and manufacturing,consumers and other aspects.Finally,the paper looks forward to the application of 3D printing technology in footwear product design,hoping that this technology can speed up the molding process of footwear products,enrich the shape design of footwear,and better meet people's aesthetic needs for fashion footwear.
