Traditional and Innovative Aspects of Liping Miao Paper Cutting Art in Fashion Design:A Case Study of Intangible Cultural Heritage Successor Yang Jinqiu
By examining the works of Teacher Yang Jinqiu,this paper delves into the inheritance and innovation of Liping Miao paper cutting patterns in fashion design.The study identifies the adherence to tradition in the patterns and their combinations,while innovation manifests in methods such as compositional reconstruction,repetitive structuring,abstraction,three-dimensionality,hollowing,and fabric reconstruction.Through an analysis of the cultural connotations of these patterns and the integration of modern design techniques,this research aims to promote the continuity of Liping Miao paper cutting art and provide a fresh perspective on garment pattern design.
