This paper aims to explore the potential of aerogel materials in the realm of thermal clothing.Through a literature review and performance analysis,it examines the fundamental characteristics,distinctive properties,and application forms of aerogel materials within the clothing sector.Aerogels,with their high porosity,low density,exceptional thermal insulation properties,and multiple advantages including adsorption,drainage,antibacterial properties,and UV protection,demonstrate considerable promise in the field of thermal clothing.Relevant enterprises must enhance their awareness of the significance of aerogel materials in thermal clothing design and better integrate them into design practices.
