Buyei wax printing is a distinctive traditional ethnic craft with significant representational and symbolic value.To investigate the inheritance and development pathways of Buyei wax printing,this article utilizes field research and literature analysis to explore the cultural,economic,and social dimensions of the craft's significance in Zhenshan Village.The study reveals limitations,singularities,and blind spots in the preservation of Buyei wax printing.In response to these issues,the article proposes leveraging new media technology to enhance promotion,integrating wax printing with modern design to bolster market competitiveness,and consolidating social resources while training successors,thus fostering the continued inheritance and advancement of Buyei wax printing.
