Research on the Integration of Ideological and Political Education into the Fundamentals of Environmental Engineering Design:A Case Study on Wastewater Treatment Engineering Design for Leather Enterprises
Educators should closely integrate ideological and political education with specialized course instruction to fulfill the fundamental task of moral cultivation.Using the"Fundamentals of Environmental Engineering Design"course as an example,and considering the characteristics of environmental science and engineering,as well as the specifics of this course,the study analyzes the issues present in the practice of ideological and political education within the course.It establishes the ideological and political objectives of the course,summarizing and incorporating elements related to national sentiment,cultural literacy,legal awareness,and moral development.The paper explores methods for deeply integrating professional knowledge with ideological and political education in terms of teaching objectives,methods,and processes.Included is a case study on wastewater treatment engineering design for leather enterprises,enhancing practical applicability,which contributes to strengthening the formation of students'correct worldview.
