This paper aims to explore the issues and reform approaches concerning the curriculum on the history of Chinese and Western fashion.By analyzing the shortcomings of current teaching models,the paper proposes measures such as optimizing course design,updating teaching methods,integrating theory with practice,and diversifying assessment methods.It is argued that these reforms can enhance teaching effectiveness,boost student engagement,and establish a solid foundation for cultivating fashion design professionals with a global perspective,innovative capabilities,and high qualifications.
